Crowd Monitor Part-time position Pay Rate:
$15.
00 General Purpose:
Performing various duties related to the safety of residents, guests, and employees.
Essential duties include but are not limited to:
Ensures safety of residents, guests, and employees in an appropriate manner.
Maintains alertness at all times while observing patrons in and around the facility.
Inspects bags for prohibited items.
Monitors patrons to ensure that they are not engaging in activities prohibited by District policy.
Reprimands Rule Breakers in a tactful and professional manner.
When improper behavior or a violation of District policy occurs, crowd monitor will:
o Educate resident(s)/guest(s) of District policy.
o Will warn resident(s)/guest(s) of consequences of continuing behavior/actions.
o Will escort resident(s)/guest(s) off premises if violation of District policy continues.
o If resident(s)/guest(s) do not leave when requested, call the non-emergency number to report the disturbance.
o Log all resident education opportunities in shift log.
o Complete incident reports on all escalated violations of District policy and the outcome.
Assists in the maintenance of a safe facility.
Follows safety protocols and procedures.
Assists in the operation of the facility in other capacities as needed.
Reports accidents to Department Manager and completes accident reports as needed.
Deals with inquiries or complaints from the public in a diplomatic and respectful manner.
Maintains positive and courteous relations with patrons, staff, and management.
Performs other related job duties as assigned.
Experience/
Qualifications:
Must have High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Must have a valid Florida Driver's license.
Must be First Aid/CPR, defibrillator, and Crowd Monitor certified (required within 90 days of hire) Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
Selections guidelines:
Formal application, rating of education and experience; oral interview and reference check.

Background check Drug testing is required.
