Experience with framing, concrete, rigging, or marine construction is a plus.
Will be working outside, in heat, and must be able to stay physically active throughout the day and be able to work well with others.
Must wear proper PPE at all times, have reliable transportation and be able to work full time plus OT as needed.
Pay is between $21-$25/hr and depends on experience of construction.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with various construction tasks as directed by the supervisor - Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at the construction site - Operate hand and power tools under supervision - Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and hazardous materials - Dig trenches, backfill excavations, and compact earth to prepare for construction - Assist in erecting and dismantling scaffolding, shoring, and braces - Assist in the installation of concrete forms, scaffolding, and temporary structures - Follow all safety guidelines and regulations on the construction site Skills:
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks - Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions - Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment - Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members - Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in completing tasks - Ability to work in various weather conditions Note:
