Crew Leader Full-time position Pay Range:
$19.

General Purpose:
Under general supervision, performs professional work in the coordination and support of Property Services Department projects.
Work involves assisting with developing project outlines, specifications, and schedules as well as managing resources such as personnel, budgets, and equipment.
Crew Leader must exercise initiative and independent judgment in all phases of work.
Engages in the maintaining and repairing of physical structures of buildings and grounds by performing the duties listed below:
Essential duties include but are not limited to:
Assist with plans, managing and developing new Property Service Projects.
Responsible for coordination of all budgetary and procurement matters related to projects.
Plan and coordinate activities of projects, review workloads, schedule personnel assignments, and oversee status of on-going work and projects.
Insure that all required resources, including:
manpower and budget are available for any project.
Responsible for the supervision of subordinate personnel.
Evaluate and analyze proposal responses.
Make acquisition recommendations, assist with preparation of purchase requests and requests for proposals as required.
Monitors worksites on a daily basis for safety issues and strives to increase the department's awareness of safe working practices.
May attend safety committee meetings as assigned.
Attend District meetings in a support role and report project status to the Property Services Manager and/or Community Manager.
Prepare progress reports to inform management of project development and deviation from predicted goals.
Assists in developing departmental plans, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
Responds to inquiries from residents, vendors and/or the public.
Assists Manager in emergency preparedness in case of severe storms.
Serves as Acting Property Services Manager in his/her absence.
Responds to after-hours calls as needed.
Experience/
Qualifications:
Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Must have a minimum of five (5) years' experience in most aspects of Property Services work duties as listed above.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Must have a pleasant outgoing manner and enjoy working with the public.
Must be a team player and have leadership skills to direct other team members.
Must be organized and follow the directions of the manager.
Must have a command of the English language (reading, writing and speaking).
Must have a current Florida driver's license and be able to drive a vehicle with a standard shift.
