Community Watch Officer Part time position - 14-28 hours per week Additionally, must be available for relief of co-workers for up to 40 hours per week.
Salary Range - $14.
61 per hour ____________________________________________________________________________________ General Purpose:
Under general supervision, patrol Barefoot Bay Recreation District during nights and weekends to observe unusual activity and report such activity to the Sheriff's Office as needed.
Able to work on a flexible night and weekend schedule.
Essential duties include but are not limited to:
Perform patrols of designated areas while in vehicle Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
While on patrol, report all observed questionable activity to the Brevard County Sheriff's Office.
Complete daily activity reports.
Observe Barefoot Bay facilities.
Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
Provide assistance to residents, employees and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
High School Graduate or equivalent Must possess a valid Florida Driver's license Must possess a valid Florida Driver's license.
Previous experience and training in security and maintain a safe driving record.
related field preferred Interpersonal skills Attention to detail and accuracy.
